Power factor controller 12 steps + TCR with 2.9" graphic LCD screen (TENSE) - RGT-12E

The RGT-12E reactive power controller from TENSE is a fully automatic and highly accurate controller designed for optimal regulation of compensation phases in electrical systems. With digital measurement, intelligent algorithms, and a graphic LCD display, it ensures a stable power factor, efficient reactive power control, and protection of the compensation equipment.

Main features and functions

Automatic detection of compensation phases

The controller configures itself after being switched on:

• automatically detects the size of the connected capacitor steps

• it is also possible to enter the parameters manually

• the system continuously monitors the status of each step

Intelligent switching control

The controller switches the phases on and off so that:

• a stable power factor is achieved with a minimum number of switching operations

• the individual steps are evenly loaded

• capacitors with the lowest residual charge are preferred

• the status of each step is monitored simultaneously (faults, power changes, removal and replacement).

TCR support (Thyristor Switched Reactor)

The controller enables compensation control with thyristor-switched reactors, which is ideal for:

• industrial applications

• dynamic compensation

• systems with frequent load changes

Advanced measurement and analysis
