Your personal data is collected via the pelek.be online store and/or directly by us. In both cases, we may act as the data controller.

We process the following personal data about you:

  • first name and surname, contact details (e‑mail, telephone number, address)
  • invoice and bank details (for accounting purposes)
  • data from communications with us (questions, answers, correspondence)

⚠ We do not process special categories of personal data.


2. Purposes and legal basis of processing

2.1 Performance of the agreement and related legal obligations.
We process personal data to perform the purchase agreement and related obligations (delivery of goods, accounting, complaints, returns).

  • Data: surname, first name, contact details (address, e‑mail, telephone), billing details.
  • Retention period: duration of the agreement + 4 years.
  • Accounting documents: retained for up to 10 years.
  • Data may be shared with authorised transport companies and banks.

2.2 Payment by card.
The card details are stored exclusively by the payment processor—we do not have access to them.


2.3 Order fulfilment.
For processing orders, we work with external service providers (carriers, etc.) who receive your data solely to perform the agreement.


2.4 Customer communications and complaints.
The processing is based on your consent.

  • Retention period: up to 4 years after handling your question or complaint.

2.5 Reviews.
We may publish your reviews and opinions based on your consent.

  • Retention period: up to 5 years.

2.6 Customer reviews.
It is possible to review products and shopping experiences (including through external processors).


2.7 Legal obligations.
Your data may be disclosed to government authorities if legally required or required through court proceedings.


2.8 Age restrictions.
For products with age restrictions, we may verify the buyer’s age through identification services.


2.9 Digital products.
When purchasing digital products, we process the data necessary for delivery and updates.


3. Communication

3.1 E‑mails we may send:

  • notifications about delivery and changes to the delivery date
  • tax documents and invoices
  • return labels

4. Processors

Your personal data may be transferred to our business partners (processors) or to third parties where required by law.
We work exclusively with reliable processors from the EU or from countries with an adequate level of protection in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR.
All are contractually bound to confidentiality.
