The FKV-14P three-phase phase control relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment against critical faults in the power network. It provides comprehensive control over phase presence, phase failure, phase disturbance, asymmetry (fixed 40%), phase sequence error, and excessive motor winding temperature. Equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: if all three mains voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct, and the winding temperature does not exceed limits, the relay is activated (contacts 15-18 are closed) and the OUT LED lights up.

• Voltage fault or asymmetry: if the voltage of one phase deviates more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 are energized; the OUT LED turns off.

• Phase sequence risk: the relay responds by opening the contacts and turning off the OUT LED.

• Winding temperature exceeded: relay switches off the output until the temperature returns to allowed limits.

• Function recovery: The relay automatically returns to operating state after parameters have normalized.
