Time relay - Flashing light at the beginning of a pulse, Flashing light at the beginning of a pause cyclic relay - symmetrical / asymmetrical cycle
A cyclic relay or cyclic timer relay is used to periodically switch electrical loads (such as lamps, fans, etc.) on or to supply control signals in automatic monitoring or control systems (such as activating an emergency flashing light or sound signal). This cyclic timer can be useful for organizing automatic ventilation processes, opening and closing windows, periodically activating heating or ventilation, for lighting, or rotating advertising boards.
If you configure the relay so that the on and pause times are symmetrical, it can for example be used to gradually switch on certain electrical devices during power/current limitations (heaters, heat sources). The presence of a switching output contact allows the cycle to start pulsing or with a pause.
