The company Principal Electric Company presents a new product line – cam-operated packet switches from Opas (Turkey). Opas started its activities in 1982 in Istanbul. For 40 years it has been bringing innovative solutions to the cam switch market and successfully exporting its products to 20 different countries.

The cam switches are designed for:

• Controlling mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors, changing the winding configuration of an AC motor (star-delta), and changing the direction of rotation;
• Operation and signaling in working circuits;
• Switching between different operating modes of heating devices;
• Turning on and off the drive of separation mechanisms in transformer stations.

Our new series of rotary switches offers a wide range of connection options for different numbers of poles and rated currents.

You can choose the switch based on the purpose and technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example: to turn a load on and off on a line, you choose the "0–1" scheme;
To switch to a parallel line (reverse load, backup source) – "1–2" or "1–0–2";
To switch between different operating modes of a device (normal speed, heating mode), you need a "0–1–2–3" scheme.
Additionally, you can choose a special switch for a voltmeter or ammeter, or a "star/delta" switch.
