TENSE has added reactive power compensation systems to its line of reactive power controllers.
The reactive power compensation unit controller, 12 steps, RGT-12E from manufacturer Tense (Turkey), is a new development by TENSE that meets the latest requirements of modern reactive power compensation systems, installed at various locations in the industrial and civil sectors – factories, workshops, farms, hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, schools, hospitals, and banks.
The new reactive power controller (reactive power compensation controller) has the following features:
- 12 relay outputs;
- Capability to use with three or one current transformer;
- 2.9-inch LCD screen + 17 LED indicators – enable easy configuration and full monitoring of the compensation system operation;
- Separate relay output, programmable for various emergencies – overvoltage, harmonics, cos φ;
- Password protection of settings to prevent unauthorized changes to the operating parameters of the capacitor unit;
- Display of connected steps;
- Automatic and/or manual input of capacitor values per step;
- Automatic control of operating time for even operation of individual steps;
- User setting of various time parameters – response time to network changes, discharge time, time between reactivation of a step, time between activation of multiple steps;
- Compensation of inductive and capacitive reactive components;
- Built-in meters for active/reactive energy (import/export/inductive/capacitive);
- Display of harmonics up to the 31st order for current and voltage;
- Measurement of total harmonic distortion of current and/or voltage;
- Built-in reactive power analyzer with registration logbook for step-by-step capacitor selection (20 registrations of 9999 minutes).
