Product description

The DS-48 pulse counter is a universal panel counter with two inputs and two 4-digit LED displays (current value + target value). It can count, subtract, and process signals from mechanical switches, inductive PNP/NPN sensors, and incremental encoders. Thanks to the wide range of input and output functions, it is suitable for industrial automation systems, production lines, measuring stations, and process control.

• Count up

Output functions (9 modes):

• Relay switch-off after reaching target

• Hold until RESET

• Pulse output 0.1-999.9 s

• Control via SSR output (NPN)

Installation recommendations

• Use shielded and twisted signal cables, ground the shielding

• Separate signal cables from power cables

• Use a fuse of F250 mA / 250 VAC on the power input

• Protect equipment against moisture, vibrations, dust, and extreme temperatures

• For mechanical switches, it is recommended to set the input frequency to 20 Hz.

• When using two inputs:

• Phs4 mode → max. ¼ input frequency

• Mode 1u2u, 1u2d, Phs2 → max. ½ input frequency
