Steatit (künstliches Porzellan) - Verwendet bei der Herstellung von isolierenden Teilen mit höherer elektrischer und mechanischer Festigkeit als herkömmliche porzellanische Materialien.

- Höhere dimensionsstabilität,
- Höhere Temperaturbeständigkeit (1000 0C und höher)
- Höhere Beständigkeit gegen Säuren,
- längere Lebensdauer,
- Es hat eine isolierende Oberfläche und die elektrische Leckage an der Oberfläche ist null, dieses Material ist effizienter.
